Party Leader Support
To help enrich your pupil’s experience through well organised ski and snowboard tours, our experienced team will listen to your requests and help you put together the best tour for your group. On confirmation of your booking, you are designated a Tour coordinator who ensures you are supported every step of the way. Whether its help with risk assessment or tour administration, we will make your tour a success and a stress free experience.
Choice of Tour
If your choice of tour be it destination, number of hours of ski school doesn’t match with one of our packages, it is very likely that we can arrange it. We have many ski trips available that have not been featured in the brochure. Check out our website for all our latest destinations and exciting new ski trips to destinations such as Japan, Spain and Bulgaria.
Health & Safety / Risk Assessment Support
We have a full time Health and Safety manager at SkiClass who audits all our hotels and works closely with outdoor education advisors across the country. For any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
IVs
We are happy to organise inspection visits to help you complete necessary risk assessments and aid tour planning. In particular these can be useful when completing paperwork for your LEA.
Party Leaders Conference
Designed for Party Leaders to inspect the SkiClass operation, meet our team, and test out some of the skiing for your self. These trips operate at New Year at a small cost which is then refunded to you if you book a tour of 42 full paying students with SkiClass the following winter. All places are subject availability.
Insurance
SkiClass customers benefit from a “no medical excess” on our insurance policy. This means that if a member of your party is in any way injured all they will have to do is hand over their medicard (supplied to you before you depart the UK) and our insurance company will take care of the rest. Because of this as a party leader you no longer need to worry about taking a large contingency fund in case the worst happens.
Snowsport Organisers Courses (SCO)
If you are new to organising ski trips and would like to develop confidence in running a trip, we recommend this course at it provides a basic introduction to the considerations inherent in organising a group of students. This is free for all Party Leaders who have booked a GOLD package. The date of the course is advised nearer to the time of your departure. Due to the busy schedule of the instructors, only 1 date is made available to you. Please be aware that we are not able to change this date once you have committed.
Alpine Ski Course Leader Award (ASCL)
Safety of our groups is of paramount importance to SkiClass and we are therefore delighted to offer our Party Leaders the opportunity to participate in the Alpine Ski Course Leader Award.
These training and assessment courses are run by SkiClass in conjunction with Snowsports England (ESC) and is free (except lift passes and insurance) for Party Leaders with groups of a minimum of 42 full paying passengers travelling on a GOLD package.
