Winter Park

Winter Park started out at the turn of the century as a railway town, when the Rio Grande railway workers would climb the slopes to ski down. The railway still plays an important part in Winter Park’s existence, with a station right at the foot of the slopes. With 300 days of sunshine per year, Winter Park has all the attributes to make a memorable holiday outstanding! One of the best aspects of the mountain is it’s variety especially for school groups. Winter Park has mile after mile of wide open intermediate slopes designed for laid back cruising. For advanced and expert skiers the pull is the renowned steeps, deeps and moguls of “Mary Jane” - the locals saying is "NO PAIN NO JANE!!"
- Nestled in the continental divide at the east end of the Fraser valley, it is one of the biggest ski areas in Colorado and boasts an average 359 inches of snow each season
- Winter Park’s 3 interconnected mountains caters for skiers of every ability
