Killington

From our base in Rutland you can ski the extensive seven mountains of Killington. All the wide, well-groomed trails are carved through very pretty, decidious woodland, which ensures that the snow is secure from the effects of any high winds. Beginners will find some of the best trails and lifts in the area at Snowshed and will also be able to enjoy skiing the trails which connect all seven mountains, thereby being able to take advantage of the full ski area.Killington is perfect for intermediate skiers as they will be able to ski a multitude of well-groomed trails. Advanced skiers will be able to test their skills on many of the wide, steep slopes, such as Superstar, or the double black diamond runs.

Apart from the numerous restaurants and pizzerias there is an open air ice-skating rink. Nearby there are multiplex cinemas, bowling and sleigh rides. Day trips can also be organised to factory outlets in Burlington.
