Ziller Valley

The Ziller Valley is one of the most popular areas for an all round winter sports experience. Investments by the lift companies ensure the 639km of pistes are served by some of the most modern systems and efficient links. A range of nursery slopes are on offer at the base of the Spieljoch in Fügen for the first day, however progress is generally quick and most beginners will soon enjoy the gentle blue runs of Hochfügen and Kaltenbach. For intermediate and advanced skiers, the Zillertal Arena connecting Zell am Ziller to Gerlos and Königsleiten is a must. The Hintertux glacier, at the end of the valley, ensures good quality skiing to the end of the season and many international ski teams train here in the summer and autumn.

  • One of the most popular destinations for skiers from all parts of Europe
  • Enhanced ski area with improved lift systems and infrastructure throughout the valley
  • The resorts vary from small, traditional villages like Uderns to cosmopolitan, chic and lively destinations such as Mayrhofen
  • All ski levels and school groups well catered for
