Wildschonau School Ski Trips

Only 60km from Innsbruck, this high valley has an enviable snow record and is very popular with school groups of all ages. It comprises of the villages of Auffach, Niederau and Oberau which, though not connected, are only minutes apart by bus. Beginners will soon progress from the gentle nursery slopes in Oberau and Niederau to the wide blue runs at the top of the
Markbachjoch. Intermediate skiers will head for Auffach where there is a great choice of red runs, enhanced by recent investment by the lift company which has replaced most of the drag lifts with state of the art chairlifts. All this along with the picturesque and welcoming village, good standard of accommodation and the excellent amenities of Wörgl, only 10km away, all add up to create a perfect ski trip.
