The Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgasten comprise of the interlinked Schlossalm – Angertal –Stubnerkogel area and Sportgastein, where the lift at the top of the Kreuzkogel is at a height of 2,686m. At Dorfgastein it is possible to access the separate ski area of Dorfgastein – Grossarltal, which is also part of the massive Ski Amade. This ski pass covers 860km of pistes accessed by 270 lifts - one of Europe’s largest ski domains.

The whole area offers extensive skiing and snowboarding for all levels and abilities. Most beginners will soon progress from Angertal, where the beginner slopes are situated, to the wide, tree-lined slopes of the Schlossalm and Stubnerkogel. The charming resorts offer thermal baths and an exceptional infrastructure and are sure to delight the most discerning of groups.
