Axamer Lizum

With an excellent reputation for guaranteed snow and magnificent scenery, Axamer Lizum was the venue for the Winter Olympic Games in 1964 and 1976 and has runs for skiers of all standards. The spectacular views of Innsbruck and the surrounding region enables a pleasurable skiing experience for all our school groups. The former Olympic resort offers many challenges for the advanced skier. From the steep slalom run from the top of the daunting Birgitzkopf mogul field to the fresh snow fallen routes from the Hoadl, or the ‘home run’ for the intermediate skier. There are also excellent pistes for beginners, with the many different gentle runs to conquer.
