Pila

Pila is located in the Aosta Valley with breathtaking views of Europe's highest peaks. The pistes are well prepared, the ski lifts are fast and up-to-date and artificial snow cannons on hand when required.

Over the last few years Pila has increased its ski areas to cater for both technical and beginner skiers. For the 2009-2010 season, the resort had increased its snow making, now up to 62 % coverage of all of pistes including the final stretch that preciously was not covered by snow cannons. This guarantees wonderful ski conditions through to April.

Developments have also been made to the lift equipment, with a marked increase of the speed of the chairlifts. In order to provide greater comfort for skiers at Aosta, there is a large ski bus system which connects the Hotels to the Aosta-Pila cable car which take approx 10 minutes to get to the slopes. Skiing has never been as easy. Aosta itself is a big city with many evening entertainment options for your group. For those who strive for a quieter week where your group can watch films and play cards.

The Ski School we work with are very happy to welcome British schools. They have English speaking intructors and will adapt their lessons to your preference and requirements. A friendly easy race can be organised if you wish by the instructors with medals, badges and certificates for your group at the end of the week.
