Cannon

Cannon Mountain is set amid the natural beauty of Franconia Notch State and combines big mountain skiing with historic New England flavour. World Cup ski racing legend Bode Miller grew up here, which has long been known as one of the most challenging mountains in the East.

With an elevation of 4,080ft, Cannon is the highest lift-accessed ski area in New Hampshire. The resort has 72 trails covering a total of 264 acres of skiable terrain, which includes the new 86 acre Mittersill Backcountry Area. Miller himself honed his skills on the classic, narrow trails and the intimidating Front Five ski area, packed with challenging chutes, gullies and glades. Recent development has improved the beginner and intermediate terrain, enabling Cannon to cater for all skiing abilities.
